TruStrength Athletics was formed in 2008 by Head Coach Jesse Wall. As a strength coach, Jesse put his skills to work helping teams and individual athletes train to compete at the highest levels they could attain.

TruStrength has worked with athletes from semi pro MMA fighters, to D1 football players, to HS athletes of every sport.

Athletes that are unavailable to train at our location in Norway can still reach their goals using our online services. We offer Distance Coaching via web, phone and video chat. Jesse opened TruStrength Athletics in 2009 as a way of bringing the excitement, support, and synergy of team athletics to the world of professional sports performance coaching. His passion for youth mentorship has grown into developing strength and conditioning programs for the teams of Oxford Hills that center around building intrinsic values, a sense of belonging and formidable grit.

He has worked as a strength coach for many years, enjoys competing in everything from mountain racing to strongman competitions, is a proud  member of the Oxford Hills community and loves the outdoors. He describes the wild outdoors as his place of spiritual harbor that "fill his cup." His passions for Alpinism, Mountain Running, Backcountry skiing, trekking, & ice & rock climbing keep him busy, along with his favorite role of being a father and husband.

My name is Ryan, after graduating from USM with a degree in exercise science I spent my first few years bouncing around and working for myself. After hearing about TruStrength I decided to set up a meeting with Jesse to discuss the possibility of training through his gym. Here I am six years later, and I have loved every minute being a part of this amazing gym/community.

I played baseball, basketball, and soccer through high school for Oxford Hills, then got a chance to go onto college to play baseball. Now I like to spend most of my free time playing golf or doing anything competitive.

I was the head baseball coach at CMCC for four years. Now I coach football and baseball at OHMS, do baseball instructions at In The Zone and work with some amazing people here at TruStrength. I love working with people and helping them to achieve whatever goals they have, anywhere from becoming great athletes, losing weight, to just making everyday activities easier.

Hello!

I am excited to welcome you to TruStrength Athletics, where fun and challenging go hand in hand, and all disciplines are welcome.

I am privileged to be a member of the TruStrength coaching family, and am thankful every day to be a part of this up beat, welcoming and positive community.

I have a passion for health and fitness in all of its aspects; Mind, body and soul.

When not in the gym, I can be found exploring the woods and jumping, with my spirited horse Duke, or wandering on foot, with my dog, Alfred, as company.

Zach has been a member of the TruStrength family for almost a decade and has found great value in being a part of the community. He gravitates towards anything endurance related whether it be trail running, backpacking, mountain biking, and ski touring. Spending time with his wife Kendra and two dogs is also at the top of his priority list. He has backpacked the entirety of the Appalachian Trail, run a few ultra marathons, and spent many hours training in the gym. Besides spending time outdoors, he can be found pursuing a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at the University of Southern Maine.
